Going along the Cassia, through the Val d’Orcia, you’ll be enchanted by the endless rolling hills, covered by wheat or sunflowers, according on the different seasons, and then, passing through charming hamlets and thick woods, by large vineyards and olive groves… the pride of every farm, from the smallest to the biggest one.
You will combine the visit of Pienza, the Ideal town of Renaissance architecture but even more important for those who like food, the birthplace of the “pecorino” cheese (made from sheep’s milk) you can go to visit a cheese factory and taste the local production together with the typical jams and local honey and then 2 wineries in the Brunello area. You’ll also visit Montalcino or S.Quirico d’Orcia in accordance with your guide.
